The Celtics finally put it away, on the road no less. Coming back from giving up the lead, being 10pts down outscored the Pistons in the 4th Quarter.
The Rivalry is about to be renewed. Lakers vs Celtics, a new chapter in the history of one of the greatest, if not THE single greatest rivalry in sports. Sure, there are others.. but they’ve faced off 11 times in the finals, 11 times. BTW the Celtics are 8-2 if anyone was counting.
What will you see. NONSTOP marketing by the ABC hype machine and the NBA. You thought that the week before the Superbowl was bad.. I have a feeling this is gonna be worse, and last longer. It is after all a 7 game series.
Ratings, prediction.. insane. I have a feeling if they market this right, everyone and their mother will be watching this. Two HUGE TV markets, two huge fanbases, two huge histories.
